Hello Readers,
Here we come up with an another article in our days observance section. Because we don’t want you to miss any important topic which is related to our self not only in terms of exams but as a human being. So here we go –
Each year, 22nd April is celebrated as Earth Day. This is an annual event which is celebrated all over the world to demonstrate support for environment protection. Earth Day aims to encourage people across the world to be more environment friendly. We are now in the 46th year of a movement that continues to inspire, challenge ideas, ignite passion, and motivate people to action.

It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. The movement gave voice to an emerging consciousness, channeling human energy toward environmental issues. And so it begins. Today. Right here and right now. The Day is more than just a single day. It’s bigger than attending a rally and taking a stand.

On this earth day 2016, the landmark Paris Agreement is scheduled to be signed by the United States, India and some 120 other countries. This signing satisfies a key requirement for the entry into force of the historic draft climate protection treaty adopted by consensus of the 195 nations present at the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris.

And if we talk about India, It is leading to significant progress in renewable energy, sustainable urban development, in mobilizing the youth, building environmental stewardship, increasing green cover and in fostering clean energy education amongst women in rural areas as well as in all the citizen of India.

So guys, no matter where you are in the world, your life will undoubtedly be touched by the Earth. So on this Earth Day and beyond, let’s make a big stuff happen. Let’s plant 7.8 billion trees for the Earth. Let’s divest from fossil fuels and make cities 100% renewable. Let’s take the momentum from the Paris Climate Summit and build on it. It’s Earth Day today so it’s the perfect time to start thinking about the planet we live on and how to save it. Let’s start now and let’s not stop.
