Apollo Hospitals Foundation signs agreement with WWF-India


Apollo Hospitals Foundation will provide medical support to forest department employees and local communities in the areas where WWF-India operates for conservation.

The two organisations have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard.The medicare will be available to over 27,000 staff and people in about 17 states of WWF-India operations. 
They will be provided with medical treatment, including air ambulance services in critical and emergency conditions.Cases such as grievous injury due to attacks by wild animals, fall from elevated areas, accidents while patrolling in vehicles, burns during fire-fighting operations, injuries in crowd control operations during incidents of human-wildlife conflict will be also be taken care of.
