China has signed agreements with Sudan to build 600-megawatt atomic reactor. It was the first of its kind in the African country. The agreements were signed during a three day visit to Sudan by a Chinese delegation led by Nur Bekri, head of the National Energy Administration (NEA) and deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
The state-owned China National Nuclear Corp (CNNC) has been signed two frame work deals with Sudan on nuclear power development, including building a 600-megawatt atomic reactor. As per Chinese media, the other agreements may involve a blueprint for nuclear power development in the next year for Sudan and building the first nuclear power station in the country. The delegation also reviewed all energy issues faced in Sudan and will provide solutions for all projects including the newer ones.
So let’s discuss some questions related to this post :
1. Name the country with which China has signed the agreement to build 600 mw atomic power ?
2. Nur Bekri, who visited Sudan recently and signed agreement to build atomic reactor is head of which department ?
