DBS Bank appoints Niraj Mittal as institutional banking head

DBS Bank India, a part of Asia’s foremost financial services group DBS Group Holdings Limited, has announced the appointment of Mr. Niraj Mittal as the Managing Director and Head of Institutional Banking for the country. In his new role, he will be taking care of scaling up business with institutional banking clients by driving both new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships.

 

Mr. Niraj will report to Jeanette Wong, who is a Group Executive and Head of Institutional Banking Group in Singapore and Surojit Shome, CEO of DBS India. Prior to this appointment, he was working with the Royal Bank of Scotland NV (RBS), where he served  as its Managing Director and Head of institutional banking business (North India). He was also concurrently the head of RBS India’s oil & gas sector franchise. Apart from RBS, he has also worked with ABN Amro Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank. He started his career with ANZ Grindlays bank, India as a Management Trainee.
