Defence Minister of India to attend security dialogue in S’pore

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will attend security dialogue in Singapore next month on 3rd of June, for the key Shangri-La Dialogue focussing on inter-governmental security and also undertake a two-day bilateral visit to Vietnam to deepen military ties. Earlier in 2015, the Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh had represented India at the Shangri-La Dialogue which focusses on security in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Shangri-La Dialogue is an inter-governmental security forum held annually by an independent think-tank, the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Every year, the security dialogue is attended by the defence ministers and military chiefs of 28 Asia-Pacific countries. During the security dialogue the issues which are likely to be discussed are the freedom of navigation and security issues concerning the Asia-Pacific region.

So let’s discuss some questions related to this post :
1. Name country where the Defence Minister of India, Mr. Manohar Parrikar will attend the security dialogue next month ?
2. Name the institutes which has annually organized the Shangri-La Dialogue ?
