Facebook appoints Anand Chandrasekaran for its Messenger app

Facebook has roped in former chief product officer at Snapdeal, Anand Chandrasekaran, for a strategic role for its Messenger app. In a global role, Chandrasekaran will be working out of the Silicon Valley headquarters of the company and will help develop strategies and partnerships for the platform that already boasts of a billion users globally.

Facebook is a for-profit corporation and online social media and social networking service based in Menlo Park, California, United States.
