The 13th Agricultural Science Congress being organised in Bengaluru from February 21-24 by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).
It will focus on ‘Strategies for Climate Smart Agriculture’. The event will be held at the University of Agricultural Sciences Bengaluru’s GKVK campus in collaboration with the local ICAR institutes. It is expected to draw about 2000 participants including scientists from across the world.
The congress will provide a platform for discussing key issues related to ‘Climate Smart Agriculture’ in all its facets, including socioeconomic empowerment of marginal farmers through technology development and policy initiatives for sustainable farming, forestry and natural resource management in tune with global climate change.
