The First India-China Think-Tanks Forum which started on December 9, 2016, concluded in New Delhi on December 10, 2016. The two day forum was jointly organized by the Institute of Chinese Studies, the Indian Council of World Affairs, and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The Forum was a part a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of External Affairs, India and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited China in May 2015. The forum was based on the theme ‘Towards a Closer India-China Developmental Partnership’.
