FM Arun Jaitley to embark on 5-day China visit to attend AIIB annual meet

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will embark on a five-day visit to China starting from 23rd of June, where he will attend the first annual meeting of the board of governors of the 100-billion US dollar Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The AIIB meeting will be held on 25th and 26th of June, in Beijing, China.

During his stay in Beijing, Mr. Jaitely will participate in different sessions of the two-day AIIB meeting including the session on ‘Infrastructure and Global Economic Growth’ and ‘Financing Green Infrastructure: The Role of Multilateral Development Bank (MDBs)’ among othersMr. Jaitley will also hold a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Lou Jiwei on June 27. He will also participate in the 8th India-China Financial Dialogue. He will return to New Delhi on June 28th, after completing his five-day official visit to China.
