Former Adobe executive Umang Bedi was appointed as managing director of Facebook India. He will take over from Kirthiga Reddy, who will be returning to the US to take on a new role at the company’s Menlo Park headquarters. According to Social Networking giant Facebook, Bedi’s appointment will be effective from July, and he will lead in building and maintaining strategic relationships with top clients and regional agencies in India.
Umang Bedi was managing director of the South Asia region at Adobe and has around 20 years of leadership experience covering sales, marketing and partnerships. He is an engineering graduate from University of Pune, and alumni of Harvard Business School. It’s a promising opportunity to participate in India’s digital growth, and I can’t think of a better place to be at.
