India extends $500,000 assistance to Gambia

India extends $500,000 assistance to Gambia_50.1

During the President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Gambia, India has promised to extend an assistance of USD 500,000 to Gambia. The assistance will contribute in supporting the skill development and cottage industry projects in the West African country.

India has also received an instrument of ratification of the International Solar Alliance framework agreement from Gambia. The two countries has also signed a MoU on Cooperation in the field of Traditional Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy.
