India Sixth Most Vulnerable Country Facing Extreme Weather Events: Report

India is the sixth most vulnerable country in the world in terms of facing extreme weather events, according to the report released by the Germanwatch.  The top 5 countries in the list are-
1. Haiti, 
2. Zimbabwe, 
3. Fiji, 
4. Sri Lanka and
5. Vietnam.
The Germanwatch is an independent Berlin-based development and environmental organisation and it has released its latest global climate risk index (CRI). The Index put the United States (US) at 10th position.
