ISRO launches PSLV-C36 carrying remote sensing satellite

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has launched Polar Satellite launch Vehicle (PSLV C36) Resource Sat-2A from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The satellite is intended to continue the remote sensing data services to global users. The ISRO is the space agency of the Government of  India headquartered in the city of Bengaluru. Formed in 1969, Chairman is A.S.Kiran Kumar.
