Mohan M Shantanagoudar new CJ of Kerala

Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar was sworn in as Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. Governor Justice (Retd) P Sathasivam administered oath of office to Justice Shantanagoudar, who was the acting Chief justice.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his cabinet colleagues were among those present on the occasion. The Chief Justice of India (CJI) is the head of the judiciary of India and the Supreme Court of India. The CJI also heads their administrative functions.
