Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal has been re-elected to IATA’s Board of Governors. This would be the 5th successive tenure for Goyal at the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Board of Governors.
Goyal is the only representative from India on this board. As a member of the board of governors, Goyal will participate in providing policy directives and guidance to IATA industry committees and to their subsidiary bodies. Goyal will serve a three-year term, lasting until the close of IATA’s 75th AGM in 2019.IATA represents more than 260 member airlines, and plays a key role in helping formulate global policy on critical aviation issues. Goyal was first elected to the board in 2004. Jet Airways flies to 68 destinations and currently has a fleet of 116 aircraft.
So let’s do:
1. Who has been re-elected to IATA’s Board of Governors?
2. Expand the term IATA?
