Navin Agarwal Appointed DG Of National Anti-Doping Agency

Navin Agarwal has been appointed as the chief of National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), working for dope-free sports.  Agarwal is a 1986 batch IPS officer of Jammu and Kashmir cadre. The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved Agarwal’s appointment as Chief Executive  Officer/Director General of NADA. He has been appointed to the post for five years. Agarwal is presently working in his cadre state–J-K.

National Anti-Doping Agency also referred to as NADA is the national organization responsible for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring the doping control program in sports in all its forms in India. As listed on its official web portal, NADA deals with adopting and implementing anti-doping rules and policies which conform with the World Anti-Doping Code, cooperates with other anti-doping organizations and promotes anti-doping research and education.
