New Zealand three-times Olympic champion Peter Snell passes away

New Zealand’s 3-times Olympic middle-distance champion Peter Snell passed away. He was the last male athlete to have completed the 800m and 1500m double at an Olympic Games, which he achieved in Tokyo in 1964. He also won 2 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games in 1962 in the 880 yards and one mile run in Perth.
