Northeast India’s largest IT hub opens in Tripura


Northeast India’s largest Information Technology (IT) hub was inaugurated at Agartala to boost employment and e-governance besides to export software technology. The Hub was set up at a cost of Rs. 50 crore. The Chief Minister of Tripura, Manik Sarkar inaugurated the IT hub.

It is the sixth hub in the North east region. This IT hub would help to create employment opportunities for the IT educated youth and to further extend the e-governance to the door step of people. This will promote the national initiatives like Digital India and Start-up India.
