Pakistan successfully test-fires anti-ship ‘Zarb’ missile

Pakistan Navy has successfully test-fired shore-based anti-ship missile ‘Zarb’, bolstering its defence mechanism. The missile was launched from a coastal site and successfully hit the surface target in the Arabian Sea.



As per the Naval chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah the launch of new missile system was part of Pakistan Navy’s continuous effort to enhance its capabilities. The missile was launched from coastal site and successfully hit the surface target in the Arabian Sea, the statement added. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zakaullah praised professional expertise of Pakistan Navy and expressed satisfaction at combat readiness of the naval forces. He said that successful test firing of Zarb missile demonstrates the Navy’s combat capabilities.
