President Presents ‘National Awards for Outstanding Services in the field of Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse’

The President of India Ram Nath Kovind presented the “Fourth National Awards for outstanding services in the field of Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance (Drug) Abuse” to the institutions and individuals on the occasion of ‘International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’  (26 June) at a function organized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

4. Best Non-Profit Institution, with outstanding contribution in Prevention of Alcoholism and Substance (Drugs) Abuse Nashabandi Mandal,  Mumbai, Maharashtra.
5. Best Research or Innovation Drug De-addiction and Treatment Centre (DDTC), Chandigarh.
6. Best Awareness Campaign State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA), Bihar.
7. Outstanding achievement by an Individual. i. Dr. R.C. Sahni, Rajasthan.
