Rafael Nadal Wins 2016 Barcelona Open

World number 5th, tennis player Rafel Nadal has won the 2016 Barcelona Open title of Tennis by defeating Kei Nishikori of Japan in the final match played in Barcelona, Spain. Rafael Nadal is famously known as the King of Clay


Nadal, who was victorious at the Monte Carlo Masters last week, claimed his 9th title in Barcelona in two hours and four minutes and in doing so equalled Guillermo Vilas’ record of 49 clay-court titles.

Nadal has won 14 Grand Slam singles titles, 28 titles in ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events and 16 ATP World Tour 500 tournaments. He also had won 2008 Olympic gold medal in singles.
