Ratan Tata replaces Cyrus Mistry as Tata Sons chairman

In one of the biggest upheaval in the corporate sector, the Tata Sons Board has appointed Ratan Tata as the interim chairman of the group for four months, replacing Cyrus Mistry. The decision was taken at a Board meeting in Mumbai. Mistry is the son of Pallonji, who controls nearly 18% of the equity in Tata Sons.
