Sanjay Bangar Appointed As India’s head Coach for Zimbabwe Tour

Sanjay Bangar is appointed as the head coach of Indian Cricket team for Zimbabwe tour. Before this appointment he worked as the assistant coach (batting) for the team at the World T20 Cup in March and April 2016, under team director Ravi Shastri.

Besides his appointment BCCI also appointed Abhay Sharma as fielding coach and Koka Ramesh as the administrative team manager for the tour. The BCCI is looking forward to appointing a full-time head coach for the national team after the tenure of team director Ravi Shastri has come to an end in April 2016. Sanjay Bangar (batting), B Arun (fielding) and R Sridhar (fielding) were part of the coaching staff along with Shastri.
