Veteran Literateur Prafulla Das passed away. He was 91. He worked in Odia language. He was a recipient of the prestigious “Sarala Award” for his achievement in the literary field.

‘Banhimana’, the biography of freedom fighter Malati Chaudhury, brought him the Sarala Award in 2014.
