Yogi Adityanath declared new Chief Minister of U.P.

Yogi Adityanath has been named as the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister designate at a meeting of newly-elected MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 312 in total, in Lucknow.

He is 21st CM of UP if counted Individually but he is the 32nd CM if the repeated tenure is counted. He has been a Member of Parliament from the Gorakhpur Constituency, Uttar Pradesh for five consecutive terms since 1998. Keshav Maurya and Dinesh Sharma will be his two deputy CMs. Yogi Adityanath, Keshav Maurya and Dinesh Sharma will be sworn in tomorrow.
