Teenage driver Kimi Antonelli delivered a wonderful performance to win the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix. This win has marking his first victory in Formula 1. This 19 year old Mercedes driver dominated the race at the Shanghai International Circuit. He just finishing ahead of teammate George Russell. This race also saw Lewis Hamilton secure his first Formula 1 Grand Prix podium for Ferrari. And he finishing third after an intense battle with teammate Charles Leclerc.

Kimi Antonelli’s Chinese Grand Prix victory marked a major milestone in his young Formula 1 career.

This Italian driver had already impressed by becoming the youngest polesitter in Formula 1 history during qualifying on Saturday.

At the start of the race Antonelli briefly lost the lead when Lewis Hamilton surged ahead from third on the grid.

However Antonelli quickly regained control before the end of the second lap and managed the race brilliantly afterward.

Hamilton initially took the race lead at the start after a strong launch from third place on the grid.

Although Antonelli later overtook him Hamilton remained competitive throughout the race and engaged in an exciting intra team battle with Charles Leclerc.

The Chinese Grand Prix race in Shanghai featured several dramatic moments from the very beginning.

Even before the race started the four drivers were unable to take part due to technical problems with their cars.

Both McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri failed to start the race because of separate electrical issues in their power units.

Additionally Gabriel Bortoleto and Alex Albon were also unable to begin the race due to technical complications.

These unexpected developments reduced the starting grid and added early drama to the event.
