56th IFFI Begins in Goa: A Grand Celebration of Global Cinema and Cultural Exchange

The 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) commenced in Goa on November 20, 2025, launching an eight-day cinematic celebration that will run till November 28. As one of Asia’s oldest and most prestigious film festivals, IFFI 2025 has drawn filmmakers, cinephiles, and artists from across the globe, reinforcing India’s stature as a hub of creative expression and cinematic diversity.

IFFI has long served as a vibrant platform for international film appreciation, cultural exchange, and the discovery of new cinematic voices. The 56th edition features,

The grand inauguration took place in Panaji with the presence of several key dignitaries and film personalities,
