A Chapter On National War Memorial Included In NCERT Curriculum Of Class VII From This Year

The chapter titled “A Homage to Our Brave Soldiers” finds its place as the final chapter in the e-book version of the Class 7 English textbook, named ‘Honeycomb.’ This positioning accentuates the importance of its content and leaves a lasting impression on the students as they conclude their academic year.
The National War Memorial, known as Rashtriya Samar Smarak in Hindi, stands as a powerful tribute to the heroic soldiers who have selflessly laid down their lives to protect the nation. Inaugurated in January 2019, this national monument holds a special place in the hearts of Indians.
