The transmission line is part of the India-Bangladesh Power Interconnection Project, which aims to facilitate the exchange of electricity between the two countries.

A reliable source of electricity to Bangladesh:

It will also help to reduce the carbon footprint of both countries by promoting the use of cleaner and more efficient power generation technology.

In conclusion, the opening of the Adani Power Ltd’s new power plant in Jharkhand is a significant step towards strengthening the energy infrastructure of India and promoting regional cooperation. The plant’s capacity to supply electricity to Bangladesh will help to meet the growing demand for power in the country and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels.
