Air India Appoints Tewolde Gebremariam as New CEO
Tewolde Gebremariam, formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of Air India. It is an important development as the Tata Group airline prepares to enter a new phase of transformation which involves achieving operational excellence, fleet enhancement, and competing globally as a full service carrier. Gebremariam will succeed Campbell Wilson, who guided Air India in the first phase of its transformation process after its return to Tata Group ownership in 2022.
