Alia Bhatt appointed as first Indian Global Ambassador of Gucci
Gucci, the luxury fashion brand from Italy, has appointed Alia Bhatt as its first global ambassador from India. She will debut as the brand’s newest global ambassador at the Gucci Cruise 2024 show in Seoul next week. This appointment is an important moment for both the brand and the Indian fashion industry, especially since it comes after Bhatt’s Met Gala debut.

This is also the first time that Gucci has selected an Indian celebrity as a global ambassador, highlighting the growing recognition of the Indian market worldwide.
The performer, businesswoman and producer will debut as Gucci’s representative at the Gucci Cruise 2024 fashion event, which will be held at the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. This show will commemorate the 25th anniversary of the brand’s first shop opening in the country.
Through a message shared on Instagram, the actor expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent Gucci not only in India, but also on a worldwide platform. She conveyed her admiration for the brand’s heritage, which has always captivated her, and expressed her eagerness to collaborate with Gucci in achieving many fashion milestones together.
