Amrit Udyan 2025: Timing, Location, Ticket Price and Near Metro Station

Amrit Udyan, formerly known as the Mughal Gardens, is a beautiful garden located inside Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. It is famous for its colorful flowers, fountains and unique design. Every year, the garden is opened to the public for a special event called Amrit Udyan Utsav. In 2025, the Utsav will be held from February 2 to March 31, giving visitors a chance to enjoy its beauty.

Amrit Udyan 2025 – Date and Timings

Amrit Udyan, located in Rashtrapati Bhavan, Delhi, is open to visitors from February 2 to March 30, 2025. The garden welcomes guests from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. It remains closed on Mondays for maintenance. Some special dates are reserved for specific groups like senior citizens and defense personnel.

Amrit Udyan covers 15 acres and has different sections like:

  • East Lawn
  • Central Lawn
  • Long Garden
  • Circular Garden

There are many types of flowers, including Coleus, Celosia, and Tuberose, making the garden look colorful. The garden also has special attractions like:

  • Bal Vatika, a children’s area with a 225-year-old Sheesham tree and an educational treehouse.
  • A Bonsai exhibit displaying miniature trees.
  • A musical fountain that plays water shows.

  • Online Booking: Visitors can book their slots at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in
  • Walk-in-Entry: Allowed, but only if space is available.
  • Entry Gate: Visitors must enter through Gate No. 35 on North Avenue Road.
  • Digital Passes are recommended to avoid paper tickets.

The nearest metro stations are:

  • Central Secretariat Metro Station (2 km away)
  • Shivaji Stadium Metro Stadium (2 km away)

A free shuttle service runs from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 every day from 09:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
