Indian dairy giant Amul has renewed its partnership with the Argentina Football Association (AFA) as the Official Regional Sponsor for another season. This new agreement marks the fourth consecutive year of collaboration and will continue through the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Amul became the first Indian regional sponsor in the history of Argentine football in 2022, making this extension a historic milestone for both brands.
AFA President Claudio Fabian Tapia expressed pride in the ongoing partnership, saying it symbolizes the growing connection between Argentine football and India. He highlighted that Amul’s confidence in the team reflects shared growth and passion, bridging fans and communities across continents.
Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of Amul, said that the brand shares a special bond with football fans around the world. “Just like football, Amul connects hearts across borders,” he said. He also added that milk, known as the world’s original energy drink, continues to fuel champions and dreams across generations.
Amul’s partnership with Argentina celebrates the shared energy of sport and nutrition. By supporting the FIFA World Cup 2022 champions, the brand emphasizes how milk and healthy nutrition play a role in fueling performance, passion, and dedication, both on and off the field.
This renewed sponsorship not only strengthens Amul’s presence in international sports but also inspires millions of fans in India and beyond. With the World Cup 2026 approaching, the collaboration promises exciting initiatives, fan engagement, and memorable campaigns celebrating both football and nutrition.
