  2. Hubs for Future Technologies: These labs will serve as innovation hubs, providing students with tools to explore and contribute to fields shaping the future.
  3. Meta’s Education to Entrepreneurship Initiative: FTLs are part of Meta’s initiative launched in September 2023, aiming to seamlessly connect students, youth, workforce, and micro-entrepreneurs with futuristic technologies, enhancing digital skilling at grassroots levels.

Achievements and Future Goals

  • Establishment of ATLs: AIM has successfully established 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) across 722 districts in India.
  • Objectives of ATLs: These labs aim to nurture curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds, fostering skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, and physical computing.
