Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2025 Announced, Check The Complete List of Winners

The Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2025 was officially announced, celebrating the creative talents of children’s literature authors across 24 Indian languages. The awards will be presented on 14 November 2025—Children’s Day—in a ceremony at Triveni Auditorium, New Delhi, reflecting the Akademi’s commitment to promoting culturally rooted and diverse storytelling for young readers.

Bal Sahitya Puraskar 2025 Ceremony Highlights

The award ceremony will be presided over by Madhav Kaushik, President of the Sahitya Akademi. Eminent Gujarati writer Varsha Das will attend as the Chief Guest, while Kumud Sharma, Vice President of the Akademi, will propose the vote of thanks. The welcome address will be delivered by Pallavi Prashant Holkar, Secretary of the Sahitya Akademi.

Each awardee will receive a ₹50,000 cash prize and a bronze plaque for their contribution to enriching children’s literature in their respective languages.

Following the award ceremony, an Awardee’s Meet will be held on 15 November 2025 at the Ravindra Bhawan Auditorium, Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi. Chaired by Vice President Kumud Sharma, the gathering will give awardees a platform to discuss their creative journeys, inspiration, and literary contributions.
