Bengali Actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee Dies Aged 43 in On-Set Drowning Accident
The bengali film actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee has been passed away at the age of 43. He died in a tragic accident while during a film shooting near the coastal town of Digha. According to the reports he had entered the sea as part of a shooting but he failed to return. With this immediate concern raise among the crew members who are present at the location.
The incident happened while filming a scene which required Rahul Banerjee to enter into the water. When he did not come back for long time the crew quickly realized the something was wrong and they launched a search operation.
He was eventually recovered from the sea and crew rushed him to a nearby hospital. However doctors had declared him brought dead and it is confirmed the tragic loss.
The sudden demise of the actor has received widespread grief support across the industry and state.
Mamata Banerjee also expressed the deep sorrow over his passing and calling him a ‘distinguished and widely admired actor.’ She stated that the news left her stunned and heartbroken. And she also highlighting his contribution to Bengali cinema.
