Bikaji Chairman Shiv Ratan Agarwal Dies at 74 in Chennai

Shiv Ratan Agarwal the Chairman and Managing Director of the Bikaji Foods International Ltd has passed away at the age of 74 in Chennai. He suffered uneasiness and he was rushed to a hospital where he took his breath last. His demise marks the end of an era for the India’s packaged food industry in where he had played the important role to transforming a traditional snack into the globally recognized brand.

The Journey of Bikaji: From Small Venture to Global Brand

Shiv Ratan Agarwal founded the Bikaji brand in the year 1993 in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Bikaji began his functions as the small businesses and time after time it evolved into the leading FMCG company and known for the traditional snacking.

  • Packaged traditional snacks

He is originally from Sardulganj in Bikaner. When he was passed he was in Chennai and stayed with his wife who had recently undergone heart surgery.
