Location: Northern Bay of Bengal

Participants: Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy

Indian Navy Ships: Kuthar, Kiltan, and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Dornier

Bangladesh Navy Ships: Abu Bakr, Abu Ubaidah, and MPA

Activities:

  • Joint patrolling along the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL)
  • Maritime exercises to enhance interoperability, including communication drills, surface gun-shoots, tactical manoeuvres, and a steam past
  • Maiden Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) drills, including a Search and Rescue scenario at sea
