Dabur Names Herjit S Bhalla as India Business CEO, Effective April 23, 2026

Dabur has appointed Mr. Herjit S Bhalla as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Its India Business. His tenure will be effective the April 23rd 2026. The announcement was made through the regulatory filing and highlights the key step to strengthening the company’s leadership for the domestic operations. He will report directly to the Mohit Malhotra who is serving as the  Whole-time Director and Global CEO of the company.

The appointment of Herjit S Bhalla comes at that time when the FMCG sector in India is witnessing rapid transformation mainly driven by the changing consumer preferences, digital expansion and the rural market growth.

As CEO of India Business He will lead the Dabur’s domestic growth strategy. will strengthen the market positioning and brand expansion and also oversee sales, marketing and the operational performance.

His extensive global experience will be expected to bring the fresh strategic insights and will enhance the Dabur’s competitiveness in the Indian market.

Professional Journey of Herjit S Bhalla

He brings over the 25 years of experience across the multiple locations in world and leadership roles in the top global companies.

Early Career was started at the Unilever in the year 2000 and where he worked for the 16 years.

During this period he have handled the several sales and marketing roles and which also include the serving as the Marketing Director in Moscow (2009-2012).

In the year 2016–17 he have joined that Metro Cash & Carry as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and was also part of the Executive Board and gained the valuable experience in retail.

Before joining the Dabur Bhalla was associated with The Hershey Company where he held several key positions
