Delhi’s IGIA Among Top 10 Airport Hubs in Asia-Pacific & Middle East
Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has earned a spot in the top 10 hub airports in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, as per the 2024 Air Connectivity Ranking released by the Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID). Operated by GMR Delhi International Airport Ltd. (DIAL), IGIA is the only Indian airport to make it to this elite list, marking a major milestone in India’s aviation and connectivity ambitions.
The 2024 Air Connectivity Ranking by ACI APAC & MID was released recently, unveiling the Hub Connectivity Index, which assesses the quality and effectiveness of airports as global transit hubs. Delhi’s IGIA achieved a top-10 position, highlighting its growing global relevance and alignment with India’s aviation development strategy.
