Actress Alia Bhatt celebrated Father’s Day in a unique way by unveiling the first look of her debut children’s book, “Ed Finds a Home.” This book marks the beginning of a new series from the “Ed-a-mamma” universe.
In her Instagram post, Alia expressed her joy, saying, “Ed Finds a Home is just the beginning of a new series of books from the universe of Ed-a-mamma… My childhood was full of storytelling and storytellers, and one day I had a dream to bring out that child in me and put it into books for children.”
The book “Ed Finds a Home” is a heartwarming tale about a dog named Ed meeting a kind little girl named Alia. Despite being homeless, Ed is filled with love and hope for the world. Alia, on the other hand, possesses a secret superpower.
When Ed and Alia cross paths, they become each other’s home. Ed helps Alia to look inward and become the best version of herself, while Alia becomes Ed’s safest place in the world.
“Ed Finds a Home” is a collaboration between Alia Bhatt, the author, and Tanvi Bhat, the illustrator. Tanvi Bhat, known for her illustrations in children’s books, brings the story to life through her vibrant watercolor and gouache paintings.
Alia Bhatt, an acclaimed actress known for films like “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” “Highway,” “Brahmastra,” “Dear Zindagi,” and “Darlings,” has ventured into the world of children’s literature with this book. She is married to actor Ranbir Kapoor, and they have a one-year-old daughter named Raha Kapoor.
“Ed Finds a Home” is a celebration of storytelling and the joys of childhood. Through this book, Alia Bhatt hopes to reignite the child within and share the magic of stories with young readers.
As we observe this special day, let us embrace the power of storytelling and its ability to nurture imagination, empathy, and a love for reading in children.
