Full moon July 2023: How to see Buck Moon?

The full moon in July 2023 will be called the Buck Moon. It is also known as the Thunder Moon, Berry Moon, Salmon Moon, Feather Moulting Moon, and Raspberry Moon. The name Buck Moon comes from the fact that the antlers of male deer are in full growth at this time of year.

The Buck Moon will be a supermoon, which means that it will be slightly closer to Earth than usual. This makes it appear slightly larger and brighter in the sky. The Buck Supermoon will reach peak illumination at 7:39 AM Eastern Time on Monday, July 3. However, it will be visible in the night sky starting on Sunday, July 2.

If you are looking for a place to view the Buck Supermoon, try finding a spot with a clear view of the horizon. You may also want to bring binoculars or a telescope to get a closer look. The Buck Supermoon is a beautiful sight to behold, and it is sure to be a memorable experience.

Here are some additional facts about the July 2023 full moon:

  • It will be the first of four supermoons in 2023.
  • It will be the closest full moon to Earth in 2023.
  • It will be visible in the night sky from July 2-4.
  • It will be best viewed in areas with clear skies and a low horizon.

  • The Buck Supermoon is a unique and special event. If you have the opportunity to see it, I encourage you to do so. It is a sight that you will never forget.
