This five-year extension, approved at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in August 2025, signals leadership stability at one of India’s most prominent media and entertainment firms.

Gaurav Banerjee’s Tenure

  • Banerjee was initially appointed as Additional Director in August 2024, following the departure of long-serving CEO NP Singh.
  • His elevation to full-time MD and CEO was confirmed through a shareholder resolution under the Companies Act, 2013.
  • The new term officially began in August 2024 and will run through August 2029.
