Government Launches Common Landing Portal to Help Citizens Find Unclaimed Financial Assets
The Department of Financial Services (DFS) under the Ministry of Finance has launched the Common Landing Portal for the Unclaimed Financial Assets. This platform has been developed with the collaboration with the PSB alliance to help the citizens easily search and trace the unclaimed financial assets across various sectors. This initiative supports the government’s “आपकी पूँजी, आपका अधिकार (Your Money, Your Right)” campaign.
The Common Landing Portal is the single online platform which is designed to provide easy access to multiple search facilities related to unclaimed financial assets. Instead of just visiting separate websites for the different financial institutions, users can now access the unified gateway which directs them to relevant search systems.
The portal has been developed in partnership with the PSB Alliance and it is intended to simplify the process of tracing forgotten or unclaimed financial assets. This significantly improves the convenience for individuals and families searching for their rightful funds.
