HAL and GE Aerospace Sign Key Deal to Co-Develop Advanced Jet Engines for India

To strengthening the defense capabilities of India Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and GE Aerospace signed the key technology agreement to jointly manufacture the advanced jet engines. This partnership marks the crucial milestone in the India’s push for the self-reliance in defense production. This deal comes after the years of negotiations. This engines will also power India’s next-generation indigenous fighter aircraft and it will reducing the dependence on foreign suppliers.
