Haryana is a state in northern India that has its own government. The Chief Minister leads the government, along with a team of Cabinet Ministers who handle different areas like health, education, and agriculture. These ministers help make important decisions for the state. Let’s look at the current list of Cabinet Ministers in Haryana and their roles.
On October 17, 2024, Nayab Singh Saini was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Haryana for a second term. Along with him, a new team of Cabinet Ministers took office, designed to ensure fair representation of different communities. The new cabinet includes 14 members, including the Chief Minister, with a diverse mix from various groups such as OBCs, Dalits, Brahmins, and Jats. This balanced approach aims to manage the caste dynamics in Haryana’s political landscape effectively. The new cabinet formation follows the BJP’s impressive performance in the assembly elections, where they won 48 out of 90 seats.
Nayab Singh Saini is an Indian politician who has been serving as the Chief Minister of Haryana since March 2024. Before this role, he held the position of president of the Haryana state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party from 2023 to 2024. Saini is a prominent BJP leader representing Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Haryana. In the October 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, he won the seat from the Ladwa constituency in Kurukshetra district and successfully led the BJP to achieve a third consecutive term in the state.
The Cabinet Ministers of Haryana play a crucial role in managing the state’s affairs. Each minister oversees specific departments, ensuring effective governance.
