Uttar Pradesh is a big state in India with many different districts. Some are cool, and some are very hot, especially during the summer. The temperature can rise a lot in these places, making it tough for people to stay comfortable. Let’s find out which district in Uttar Pradesh is the hottest of all and why it gets so warm there.
Uttar Pradesh is a big state in the north of India. It is a place with a rich history and an important culture. UP is the most most populous state in the country, with many people living there. It has old cities, holy rivers and special religious places. The land of UP is different in many areas – some are flat, some are hilly. Uttar Pradesh is also very important in India’s politics and plays a big role in the country’s economy.
Uttar Pradesh has a total of 75 districts. These districts help in the smooth running of the state. To manage them better, the 75 districts are divided into 18 administrative divisions. This makes it easy to govern and provide services to all people.
During summer, the temperature in Uttar Pradesh usually stays between 40ºC and 45ºC. But sometimes it climbs up to 49ºC or 50ºC. The Bundelkhand area of Uttar Pradesh is the hottest part of the state. Here, the land is very dry, and there are not many trees. So, the temperature there is much higher.
The hottest district in Uttar Pradesh is Banda. It is in the Bundelkhand area. The highest temperature in Banda was 49.2ºC in 2019. It was about 7ºC more than the normal temperature at that time. Earlier, in 1995, Banda’s temperature was 48.9ºC.
Some other districts in Uttar Pradesh are also very hot during summer. Among them, Jhansi and Agra become quite warm when the temperature crosses 45ºC. These districts, like Banda, suffer from strong sunlight and very high temperatures in the summer months.
