ICC T20 World Cup, South Africa into the Finals

South Africa beats Afghanistan by 9 wickets and gets the final ticket of ICC T20 World Cup 2024 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago. South Africa will play in their first ever ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final. Now which team face them in the final yet not decided. The second semi-final is yet to be played between India and English at 8 pm. Afghanistan were bowled out for a mere 56 runs within 12 overs. Marco Jansen, Tabraiz Shamsi, Kagiso Rabada, and Anrich Nortje displayed ruthless bowling on a Trinidad pitch that proved to be a nightmare for the batters.

Marco Jansen was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance, taking 3 wickets for 16 runs in his three overs. Kagiso Rabada contributed with 2 wickets for 14 runs from three overs, while Anrich Nortje impressed with 2 wickets for just 7 runs in his three overs. Tabraiz Shamsi effectively cleaned up the tail, finishing with figures of 3 wickets for 16 runs in just 11 balls.
