According to Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, India’s performance has been admirable as it can be seen that the country has done better in terms of the number of medals won in comparable sports in both editions.

This improvement indicates that India has become increasingly competitive in the events covered under the Glasgow Games.

The importance of India’s achievement is excelled by the performance of the country’s large contingent.

Even though it sent a smaller team, India achieved better results in comparable competitions, showing that the country’s system of preparing athletes has improved.
