India is third largest market for Lladro

The Indian market has surpassed Spain to emerge as the third largest market for iconic Spanish porcelain brand Lladro after Japan and the US as a comeback in gross sales in 2022. In 2021, the Indian market grew by 33 percent and in 2022 India has set a target to grow between 35 to 37 percent.

Year to date compared to last year India is growing at the rate of 15 percent. The Global Sales Director of Lladro SA, Fernando Gallego Cruz praised the growing and promising Indian market and wishes to invest in the Indian market in the future.

As a part of the development of the Indian market, The Valencia, Spain-based firm plans to open three new ships in India within the subsequent 18-24 months. Valencia has currently seven shops in India and Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru are the highest contributing cities to the model, also adopted by Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The India enterprise generated 10-12 percent of the worldwide enterprise for Lladro and has doubled prior. 30 to 40 percent of sales of the Lladro are generated from the ‘Spirit of India’ collection. A high porcelain sculpture of Lord Balaji was launched in 2018 and cost ₹27 lakh and holds a precious place in the firm.
